21 Review
No, I'm not doing 21 movie reviews. That'll take me months to accomplish that. The movie in question is 21, the recently released movie about a group of MIT students who counted cards and struck millions.... of dollars that is.
One might wonder, if the main character Ben Campbell (played by Jim Sturgess) got addicted to the game than just wanting to exact revenge on Mickey Rosa after he got robbed.
All in all, it wasn't a great movie nor was it horrible, looks like a typical Blackjack movie with a MIT twist to it. At first I was reluctant to watch the movie because of the negative reviews, but my friend really wanted to watch the movie so I gave in and watched it. I have to thank her for a time well spent. I wouldn't have watched this movie alone. Even though it wasn't a great movie, I enjoyed it, I think that's the bottom line here. So I guess $10 well spent?
I wouldn't recommend you to buy the DVD though, maybe rent it first if you haven't watched it. It's not one of those movies that you must own on DVD when it comes out.
