BLUTYPHOON, Now with AMD Phenom II X4 810
Well, Operation AMD Rev. C is so far a success. Today, I finally received my shipment for the AMD Phenom II X4 810 which I quickly installed.
I even quickly reinstalled Windows Server 2008 and did a slight overclock. My goal isn't to push the computer to the limits like some other overclockers would like me to do (I'm not hitting >3.5 GHz). I decided that at 3.0 GHz, it's a great speed to run at and there isn't any problems. I will do more stress testing later. The processor is so zippy, especially since I cleaned the timings for the system as well.
Here's how my processor looks on CPU-Z:

Here's my CPU-Z Validation.
I chose to set my memory to be ganged because, frankly I didn't see much performance difference between it unganged and being ganged and plus, since I'm lazy, I left it ganged so when I tweak the memory timings, i don't need to do it twice. To make it stable, I reversed the timings back to stock since the timings shown in the pics causes the system to stall when stressed.
Also, I've noticed that there's nothing really warrants me to spend the extra $40 on the 920. The Phenom X4 810 is a great product as it is. It clocks well and consumes less energy. The Phenom X4 810 runs at 95W TDP while the 920 is rated at 125W.
One interesting thing I realized was running HWMonitor:

Notice how it says that my processor is a 910 instead of an 810. However, that doesn't mean I get the full 6MB cache though >.>".
