Weather tidbit: Unusual Heatwave Strikes Toronto
A Spring heatwave has struck the City of Toronto with today's high at 20C. This sudden heatwave was caused by a high pressure that spreads across the province. This week's high will reach 22C this Saturday.
Following this high pressure system will come a low pressure system which will make the temperatures plummet on Sunday to a high of 9C.
This heatwave is very strange for this time of year since the seasonal temperature for this time of year is 13C. Fortunately for some, this summer like weather is great to finally go out and enjoy the great outdoors. Unfortunately, this weather will only stick for 1 more day since there's going to be a low pressure system that will make the temperature plummet as much as 20C and will bring rain into the region.
Double digit weather is not expected to return until Thursday with a high of 15C.
