If Vista wasn't bad enough, the kids at Redmond copies Apple Mac commercials as if Vista wasn't much a MacOS X copy of its own. Like seriously, is the think tank at Microsoft really out of innovative ideas to warrant a photocopy of other companies in order to sell licenses of products that imitates the looks of that exact product's commercials?
Like seriously, Microsoft has been doing some frantic things to do some damage control for its failure of an operating system. Vista has been an even bigger mess than even Microsoft ME. Although, it does say that at least Microsoft fixed crashes and security aspects but they have marketed a product that is not up to the consumer standards. Nor does it reach the standards of its predecessor, Windows XP. You know your product is a failure if it can't even live to the expectations set by its own predecessor. Right now, the only hope Microsoft has is to make sure that Windows 7 is a much better improvement and really outshines the competition or at least fix the flaws of its operating system so it can at least make people to upgrade to its latest operating system. If they aren't able to do that, then one might wonder, is this really the end of Microsoft being able to create their own operating system? Is this the resurgance of UNIX-based operating systems? I hope so, since UNIX has been proven to be the superior ones since the 1960s, way before Microsoft was even conceived of.
Oh, and here's Microsoft's ad. It shows diversity, but it isn't creative or innovative at all. PCs are diverse ... as a matter of fact, PCs also run Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, openSolaris and many other operating system as well, so is Microsoft really advertising Windows, or other operating systems as well. It's not clear at all.
Sweet blog post! I really enjoyed your topic and writing style! I'm definitely going to come back and read more in the future!
