COMPUTER REPAIR SERVICE CHANGES

This applies to everyone including people outside of Metro Prep. This was going to eventually happen and it has been fun for the years repairing laptops and other people's machine. It has taught me a lot.

Request for computer repairs will be charged for a fee after such date.

Fees
Diagnostics: $10
Operating System (Re)Installation: $15
System Optimization: $20/hr
Other System errors: $20/hr
Hardware repairs: Will depend on the diagnostics
System Assembly: $35 + parts
Consultation: Free

Request for help over MSN/Skype/iChat is still available for free though. Computer advice is free as always and will not change.

UPDATE: As of May 19, 2008, I will not repair any machines if you do not have an system installation disc on the ready unless I have a copy handy.

*family members and close friends are exempt from this announcement. All exemption are subject to change at my discretion and those affected will be notified. Any hardware repairs or attempts of repair will be at your own risk; if not, hardware issues will be forwarded to system manufacturer or service centre and diagnostic fee will be charged instead.
