Story of a Backstabber

(For the sake of anonymity and to protect the identity of the parties involved, I will not reveal who this person is nor anyone involved except me in this rant post. Do not bother asking!!)

We all know a backstabber or two throughout our lives, they are annoying, you think they are your friends, but they are truly not. They take advantage of you, and talk about crap about you behind your back. They are two-faced scoundrels.

However, that is not the type of backstabber I am talking about. Oh no, this one is worst, this one takes it to another level. Another level that you wish it never happened to you. One that might disrupt and wreak havoc with your other friends. One so terrible, if it was successful, your close friends will think that you are a backstabber. This type of backstabber destroys friendship on the scale even the S.A.S cannot be compared, nor can the C.I.A be compared. The scale may be as big as the K.G.B during the Cold War.

You may be starting to wonder what is the goal of this backstabber I am talking about. What is this backstabber's motive. Why must he commit such heinous deeds? What is it that he needs that he is willing to give up his friendship to achieve this goal?

That my friend, I believe for this backstabber is the chase of love. Sure, many people will go the distance to do outrageous things to achieve the love of the "target." However, is it necessary to gamble that for the love of someone? Is it worth it to lose your friends for that one person that already said she isn't interested in you? Are you stupid enough to realize that by attacking them, you are "fixing" this issue? There are many factors in this issue.

Not only is he just attacking his friends, but he realizes that he is attacking the people who are close to his "target" by twisting stories and lying about things that the respective persons did not say (which is illegal in International laws and can be sued over; it is deemed as libel. If it's unwritten, it's slander!). However, even though it is illegal, I have decided to not take legal action since it's not worth it.

Anyways, back on topic, does the person even realize that by backstabbing her closest friends would improve your chances at her? Think for a moment, isn't that counter-productive? Don't you, the reader agree that it is absolutely stupid that this person is attempting to do one of the stupidest acts ever? Like seriously, even on a military standpoint, you only do that if you want to destroy the target, not to become allies with them. This "target" won't like the backstabber even more, she will distrust the backstabber for backstabbing his friends just for her. It's no heroic act, it's the exact opposite.

If the backstabber really want to go for the "target", wouldn't it be smarter to "embrace and extend" instead of "embrace and annihilate"? The backstabber doesn't realize that this is indeed both counter-productive, but also a lose-lose situation. He will lose his friends who are close with the "target" and she will start distancing herself even further from him or even start hating this backstabber. In the end, he has set himself up for this. How can he do this to people? Doesn't he realize that doing this will cause enemies than fix the problem? The best thing he should do I think is that he should go the way of the HD-DVD in this business before he causes anymore tensions before people involved, including me hate him for good. I find this very very selfish, even worse than committing suicide!

I am in total shock about this issue as I have not see this coming as his friend for a good 2 years. Does he think that he still have any chance after doing this? He must also realize that the "target" will believe her close friends than him even though they had a pretty good friendship prior to the mess.

Here, I learned that you can't trust those who are desperate. It is really sad indeed, and haven't realized how desperate this character is until he launched such outrageous attacks. If the terrorists in around the world were to compete against him in causing outrage in me, I say the terrorists are losing big time.
